Hend, an adept economist and accountant, carries the flag of innovation and passion in every step of her professional journey. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Language from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University and embarked on her business ventures at the Commercial International Bank. Successfully navigating through various departments and positions, Hend made a significant career shift after the revolution, redirecting her passion towards sustainable development in Egypt.
Hend founded a pioneering environmental initiative aimed at providing training and creating employment opportunities for underprivileged youth. She also launched the first professional street cleaning and recycling guide in Egypt. She held leadership positions in several charitable and social institutions, serving as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of “Manber Al Noor Charity,” Treasurer of the Islamic Medical Association, CEO of the “Al-Anani Human Development Foundation,” and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at El Dakahlia Group. Hend is the founder and director of the “Al-Anani School for Agricultural Technology” and the CEO and Secretary-General of “TROOS Egypt for Development” Foundation. Additionally, she serves as the CEO of the “Tanaghum Comprehensive Sustainable Development” project and the “Al-Basma Summit.”
