Having served as a Senior Associate in several prestigious law firms and at Vodafone Egypt, her expertise primarily revolves around general corporate and commercial matters, joint ventures, corporate structuring and restructuring, employment law, and technology and telecommunications-related issues. Engy is also well-versed in assisting corporate entities with their day-to-day operations.
She has been involved in a multitude of significant projects and advisory roles, including joint ventures in the fiber optics industry, co-development projects in the real estate sector, and drafting cooperation agreements for major mobile network operators. Engy’s legal acumen extends to areas such as data protection, mental health solutions, VPN regulations, and complex construction agreements.
At Vodafone Egypt, Engy managed the drafting and revision of various legal agreements, handled corporate governance matters, and provided proactive legal counsel on diverse issues, from dispute resolution to regulatory compliance. She played a pivotal role in transforming the legal department, initiating projects aimed at increasing efficiency and digitization, such as a digital legal library and a legal chat bot assistant.
