One of our distinguished experts is Dr. Mera, an academic researcher and behavioral scientist who is passionate about supporting social sustainability goals through empowering youth. She holds a Ph.D. in human development from the University of Rochester in the United States. Currently, she is working on establishing a behavioral insights unit.
Dr. Mera is also involved in founding the Ajial Initiative, which aims to study identity shifts within Saudi generations resulting from social and ideological changes that have occurred in the Kingdom over the past 100 years.
Her expertise lies in research targeting youth identity development and its relationship with the use of social media, ideological shifts, and online extremism. She has worked as a research assistant at Georgia State University and the University of Rochester. She earned her master’s degree in human development and family studies from Kent State University and her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University.
Her specialization and experience in the field of youth development and behavioral research make her a valuable addition to our team and the services we offer.
