oThroughout my career in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, I had the privilege of participating in the formulation and implementation of national policies and strategies. I have supervised 200 employees and together we implemented innovative programs and initiatives that have contributed to achieving sustainable development goals, Egypt’s vision, and the ministry’s strategy to build digital Egypt.

oDuring these years, the initiatives and contributions varied, and they had a significant impact on achieving technological accessibility and promoting sustainable development policies, for almost 50,000 annual beneficiaries, including people with disabilities, women and girls, youth living in remote areas and those intermediate certificates.

oBuilding partnerships with local, regional and international institutions and promoting south-south cooperation, I have strengthened deep relationships with partners, including international organizations such as Japan Government, the Korean Development Fund, the International Labor Organization (ILO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Canadian International Center for Development Research, and Microsoft – UP, as well as a large number of private institutions, civil society organizations, and non-governmental organizations.

oTo efficiently serve local communities, I promote innovative technological solutions and sustain the development model to be scaled up across Egypt and the MENA region. I succeeded in sustaining many pilot projects into presidential national initiatives. One of the closest projects to my heart is the telemedicine solution that saved many lives in border areas and during the pandemic.

oOn the other hand, I have been running communication coaching sessions. For me, it is not just a job, but a passion that aims to inspire others, especially women, to live a delighted and balanced life. I am proud that during my joyful journey of supporting my down syndrome son, I have left a positive footprint in the lives of many mothers and guided students and youth on how to accept others, set and achieve meaningful goals, and live the life they deserve.
