May ZeinElDein is the Founder & President of Alhassan Foundation for Differently Abled Inclusion since 2012. She has spearheaded the Wheelchair Basketball Development in Egypt, achieving remarkable success and establishing the 1st ladies and youngsters’ teams in the country.
Since 2023; ZeinElDein is the Northern Region Chairwoman at IWBF – Africa.
With 25 years of experience in multinational corporations and developmental organizations, May has a profound passion for strategic planning and startups.
Following her son’s car accident in 2011, she transitioned from corporate life to social entrepreneurship, founding Alhassan Foundation to support individuals with physical challenges.
The foundation has gained global recognition for its efforts, including being honored by the United Nations in Vienna in 2019.
May is also a Disability Consultant to banks, corporates, and educational entities, advocating for the rights of the Differently Abled nationally and internationally.
She recently established Alhassan Academy for Para-Sports to empower the younger generation with disabilities; particularly wheelchair basketball.
Consultant and permanent guest speaker on topics of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management at the American University in Egypt.
May received numerous accolades for her outstanding contributions, including the “Champion of Change” award in 2021.
Currently; 2024 enrolled in International Sports Managment Diploma with Fifa.
May is characterized by her persistence, determination, vision, humility, and Can-Do attitude
