One of our distinguished experts is Mr. Mohamed, who brings over 25 years of experience in various business sectors, including FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), telecommunications, electronics, and retail, across the Middle East in markets such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, and Libya.
Mr. Mohamed is known for his personal drive and consistent track record of achieving exceptional results, whether it’s launching new businesses, turning them around, or managing their closure. He has worked both on the principal and distributor/partner sides, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire business cycle, key drivers, and critical success factors.
Currently, Mr. Mohamed is actively engaged with a gaming startup in Saudi Arabia called “La3eb,” where he leads the e-commerce division, overseeing commercial operations and customer service. He is deeply involved in the company’s strategic planning and business strategy setup.
Previously, he held a pivotal role at “eXtra,” a leading electronics retailer in Saudi Arabia. Here, he envisioned and implemented a customer-centric transformation, setting out to make the organization a gold standard for customer experience (CX) in the GCC region. He took charge of developing the customer experience across all touchpoints, establishing a unique retail infrastructure and operations dedicated to capturing and acting upon customer feedback. His efforts led to notable improvements, raising Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI%) from 74% to 78% and Net Promoter Score (NPS) from 3% to 15% within just 12 months, all while maintaining an efficient departmental cost structure.
In a previous role, Mr. Mohamed headed the Telecom business for AlFozan Group, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest conglomerates, based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. His responsibilities included managing a multi-billion-dollar, multi-brand mobile handset business, consumer electronics portfolio, and operator business. He oversaw the company’s results while managing an organization of over 600 employees and maintaining relationships with major suppliers and principals.
Mr. Mohamed has also been instrumental in various renowned global companies, such as Fonterra MEA & CIS, Nutricia/Danone, Kraft Foods, and Ismail Abu Dawood, holding different roles in sales, commerce, and general management, managing businesses across diverse categories.
He has a passion for teamwork and collaboration, along with mentoring and coaching others, driven by a personal commitment to achieving breakthrough achievements.
